Dear Jordan Temple Church Family,

Last Sunday, we launched Discovery 4421, an exciting initiative designed to reveal Jordan Temple beyond the Sunday morning worship service. This effort invites us to take a deeper look at who we are and how we can better serve others.

Two important questions guide this initiative:

Who are we as a church family?

What do we have to offer to those who are unsaved, searching, or dissatisfied?

In the coming weeks and months, Discovery 4421 will introduce new opportunities for fellowship, outreach, and spiritual growth. Some of these efforts will begin immediately, and many will require the participation and support of volunteers from our church family.

Strengthening Our New Member Process

We will be enhancing the intake process for individuals who unite with our church. This will include a four-week New Members Class curriculum designed to help new members understand our mission, connect with the church family, and become actively involved.

In addition, we will begin publishing a calendar of events and activities planned for the upcoming months so that everyone can participate and invite others.

Volunteer Opportunities

To help make this initiative successful, we are seeking:

New Member Ambassadors (4 volunteers).

These ambassadors will serve as guides and encouragers for new members, engaging with and servicing them for 3 to 6 months. Their role will be to help new members stay connected, attend classes, and feel welcomed as part of the Jordan Temple family.

Event Coordinators

We are also seeking individuals with event-planning skills and experience to assist in organizing and coordinating our upcoming activities and outreach events.

1.    Men’s Coffee and Donut Sunday, March 15th, 9:00 – 9:45 AM in the Incredible Life Center Café. Coffee and donuts are free and will be provided while supplies last.

2.    Church Sick and Prayer Conference Call, Thursday, March 19th, 12:00 – 12:30 PM. Call-in number: 206-806-9902.

3.    Children’s Lunch Banquet (Ages 5–12). Saturday, March 28th, 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM. Cost: $5 (each child may bring one friend for a free meal)

4.    Palm Sunday - Friends Day. Sunday, March 29th, 10:00 AM Worship Service.

5.    Women’s Social Gathering, Tuesday, March 31st, 7:00 PM

6.    Church Picnic, Saturday, July 11th, 9:00 AM, Schiller Park

Discovery 4421 is about opening the doors wider, strengthening our fellowship, and reaching people with the love of Christ. Thank you for being a part of this journey as we continue to grow together in faith and service.
